Hi everyone. This is Amy with Dickinson Investments. You may not recognize my face but maybe my voice as one of our back office operations personnel.
I wanted to take the time to remind our clients that if they haven’t added a trusted contact person to their investment account(s), to give us a call.
Schwab is asking all account holders to add a trusted contact person to their accounts. This would enable Schwab or Dickinson Investments to call that trusted contact should we have problems communicating with you whether by email or phone that didn’t seem to work.
Also, Schwab would be able to contact this individual if they have suspected a problem with your account and couldn’t get in touch with you. A trusted contact person is not able to access or retrieve information on your investment account; they are just a connection to contact you.
If you haven’t added a trusted contact person, of course, Schwab has a form for you to sign. Stop by or give me or Julie a call, and we can get one ready for you. We will need your contact person’s information – name, address, phone and/or email and their relationship to you.
If at any time you have questions on your accounts other than the investments, Julie and I are always here to help. Give us a call at 712-256-4856. Thanks.
